There's a bit in one of
the volumes of Hitchhiker's Guide where Arthur Dent learns to
understand birdsong but is disappointed that it is all about
wind speeds and the location of berries

Human speech is mostly
about money and shopping and how stupid other people are
Maybe a few avians are interesting
